We just got Big Brain Academy in the mail and I gotta say, we are really enjoying it. I kinda wish there was a bigger variety of mini-games, but in reality I rarely have time to play that many in one sitting anyway. I never played the DS version, but from what I hear the games are all different. There are 5 categories, visualize, compute, analyze, identify, and memorize (i think). In each category there are a few psych experiment type games. Some are basic: putting numbers in order and identifying a photograph of something as it fades in. Some are harder to describe, like the train track game and the whack-a-mole matching game. Either way, they’re all pretty fun if you’re even the slightest bit nerdy. Who knows, maybe it’s even fun if you’re not. I’m not sure if it’s quite as amusing a party game as wii boxing and the like though.
