TimeTube is a Dipity (timeline) and YouTube mashup that lets you do a keyword search on YouTube videos and presents the results in a cool timeline format like the one above. There’s another cool coverflow-like option which Dipity calls “Flipbook” too.

I picked up Empire Earth for the PC this past weekend at a local used books/media store for $7. I don’t know what it is, but I have an addiction to city building and sim games. Particularly when there are scenarios and small goals to work toward. I’ve been known to sit in front of the computer for days on end when time permits. It’s my version of vegging out. Now that the term is essentially over, I plan on indulging for at least a couple of days. Maybe tonight…

I was chatting with an old friend of mine from way back when today. He introduced me to Street Fighter and probably was my first encounter with “gaming” rather than just “playing video games.” Anyway, he directed me to the Street Fighter: The Later Years videos and I might have accidentally wasted my afternoon watching them and laughing my ass off. If you were ever a Street Fighter player, you should definitely check these out (watch them in order).
